Clean Hands and Clean Heart

Germenes

Story Breeding Ground for Germs

Who hasn’t heard of the importance of washing your hands to keep away germs! The Pharisees complained to Jesus that the disciples didn’t wash their hands like they had prescribed in their traditions. Sure, that is important for our health and well-being, but far more important is a clean heart.

In teaching children we need to cover all aspects of life, but the main focus should always be on Jesus and his love and grace towards un sinners. We cannot emphasize too much the importance of having a clean heart.

Jesus is the center of our entire existence. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. He is the Creator, the one who fills all in all. To Him be glory forever. One day every knee shall bow before Jesus and everyone has to acknowledge him as Lord.

I’ve written a story about clean hands, to protect us from germs. That is important, but what we need to emphasize is the importance of having a clean heart! I want to thank David C Cook Publishers for the idea to this story, which I got while translating lessons for them for children at risk. Click here to see the full story, an activity, a coloring page and a poster.

As I mentioned in a previous blog, we are working on updating each of the stories published so far. There will not be as many new stories until this update is completed.

I wish you God’s richest blessings in your ministry to children, be it in the home or in the classroom.

Updating the Stories

Were working on updating all the stories so each one will have all the components. You can check out these: Lost in the Big City, Deborah’s Prayer, and The Little Flower that was Healed. We are also working on new stories.

The plan is that every story will have:

  • The Story
  • A Coloring page
  • An Activity Page
  • A Poster

Please have patience with us. There are many new things coming. It just takes time to get all the components together.

God bless you continually! Check in every week for the updates.
