The most important thing we can do for someone is to show them the way of salvation. There are many man-made roads that supposedly lead to salvation, but there is only one true way to God. Jesus is the Way.

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Here we will provide lesson ideas and other helps to teach about salvation, as well as things you can use as evangelism helps. May God bless you and use you to lead many people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

The Lost and Found Sheep

Each of us that have salvation has been a lost sheep, found by the Good Shepherd. There are many lost sheep waiting to be found. Jesus died on the Cross for each one.

In Luke 15 Jesus told 3 parables of something lost and found.

  • A lost sheep
  • A lost coin
  • A wayward son

In all instances there was rejoicing when they were found, just as there is joy in heaven for each sinner who repents.

In Matthew 18 Jesus talked about children and the Kingdom of Heaven. He used the parable of the lost sheep to show that the Heavenly Father doesn’t want any of the little ones to perish.

Here are some helps to illustrate this story.
